Hodson / Baumgarner Wedding

Production is underway for Jessica and Jonathan's wedding this past Saturday and it is looking great! What a unique and beautiful wedding it was! Kathy and Scott did an amazing job of organizing the event. Debra and I had a great time, as did all of their guests. Jessica was truly a princess, and Jonathan looked really sharp in his white tux. The music choices were very unique and fit this regal event perfectly. It was all so beautiful! The Hodson and Baumgarner families were both such kind, easy going people that Debra and I felt like we not only gained new clients, but made new friends as well.

Utley/Higgins Wedding

Production is underway for Ty and Kristina's wedding last Saturday. It was a very nice wedding. Gary and Juliana did a fantastic job in organizing it. Ty and Kristina are a very sweet couple and I wish them the very best. This is a composite I designed today that will be featured in their album. (click image for larger view)

Angela: first shoot

Had my first official shoot today with Angela, the winner of the first round of Model Search 2006. The shoot was cut short by an approaching storm. We were going to stick it out and get as much as we could before it started raining, but a really close lightning strike and loud clap of thunder sent us running back to the truck! However, we did manage to capture some good stuff. Watch for good things to come from Angela in the near future. We will be scheduling more shoots very soon.

Staying in touch

I had a bridal portrait shoot this morning. As I was waiting for the bride to arrive, I said a prayer (I always do), thanking God for the wonderful blessings in my life and asking Him to be with me on the shoot, that I may capture something beautiful and inspiring. Just as I finished my prayer, this butterfly flew right over to me. I placed my finger next to it and it climbed on. With butterfly in one hand and camera in the other, I took this shot. Life is good!!!!

Good friends

I am blessed to have some really good friends. I shot engagement photos for two of my friends yesterday, Zach and Kaylyn. We had a great time. They are a really fun couple to be around with a great sense of humor. I am looking forward to doing their wedding in December.

"Mom, Tigger's starin' at me!" Babies can be so fun to photograph! This little guy is CJ. He got a little upset at us just before this shot (click image for larger pic) but wore a great big grin the rest of the shoot. Watch for CJ and his cousin, Gabriel soon to be added to my "kids" gallery. They were wonderful!

A family affair

Just finished production on a shoot for the DeLorinzo family. Their original '54 Ford made for a great addition to their family portraits. Watch for some of these shots to hit my galleries soon.

How sweet it is!

Remember the bride who's photographer pulled a "no show"? Well, through a very fortunate turn of events, I now get the honor of shooting Kaelee's wedding! We shot the engagement photos yesterday, and it went very well. Kaelee and James are a sweet couple with a great sense of humor. We all had a good time. I am really looking forward to their wedding.

Has anyone seen my photographer?

Yesterday, I answered the phone to a woman named Kristi. There was desperation in her voice as she described a scene at a church in Perry. There was her beautiful daughter, in an amazing wedding gown, hair and makeup done to perfection, and their photographer was M. I. A.....She said that my good friends at One Cut Above Salon told her to call me. "This sounds like a job for Super Photo Man!" I grabbed my gear and away I flew. I had no white horse, so my ford pickup would have to suffice. I arrived with camera in hand and captured images of a stunningly beautiful bride and met some very nice folks too. As I told Kristi and Kaelee, there are no accidents, it was meant to be. I am very blessed to meet so many nice people in my line of work.

Wedding: Nic and Katie

I shot another beautiful wedding Saturday in Stillwater. Nic and Katie are just the sweetest couple! Both of their families were very nice as well. They were so accomodating and easy going that it made for a very enjoyable experience. Nic was a real gentleman and Katie, a classic beauty in that beautiful dress. This was my first time to St. Francis Church. It was awesome. The wedding was planned perfectly from start to finish and flowed very smoothly. Nic and Katie were such a sweet and happy couple that it created a vibe everyone could feel. This is why I love shooting weddings! Check out this preview collage (click image for larger view). Downtown Shoot

I had a great shoot in downtown OKC yesterday with an new model named DeCarlos. We parked and wandered around the streets for a while and found some really good spots. See the gallery HERE.
